The Whole Brain Group was retained by Livonia Tool and Laser, a Michigan-based manufacturing company providing high-quality products for the material handling and fabrication industries. Livonia Tool was looking for a partner to help them implement a new brand strategy across their website and sales channels.
In addition, Livonia Tool was interested in completing an Inbound Strategy, implementing key infrastructure elements and tools (HubSpot), and launching a lead generation program to better engage with their target market. During the inbound strategy exercise, The Whole Brain Group team was able to help Livonia Tool determine their unique voice and messaging, define and document their target buyer personas, and analyze their current inbound landscape of competitors and current marketing activities. We did a three logo concept design – one conservative, one modest and one radical change. Because we had done the strategy, spent some time with the client and learned about how they wanted to be portrayed, we were able to create a logo that they really felt represented the direction the company wanted to take.
Their website was on an old theme, rubber-banded so many times that they could not update or fix it, and it needed to be completely rebuilt. Further, Livonia Tool had not implemented a bulk email system within the organization, so generic communications to their clients had to be done through personal email accounts. The Whole Brain Group planned, designed and launched a new site for Livonia Tool that created a significant increase in traffic. We also created an email marketing campaign that increased activity from existing clients, immediately resulting in new business opportunities.
