Our Client:
Trumble Inc. is a Michigan-based technology company whose flagship product, Reveal®, is enterprise class, artificial intelligence software for the manufacturing industry.
The Project:
Relaunch their existing website (that was seen as more of a temporary place holder site) with bolder brand and more focused messaging for their prospective clients and investors. They needed a website worthy of their breakthrough technology, but also one that told a relatable, human story. We were also asked to provide an SEO strategy for the site to improve organic traffic.
Finally, we were sensitive to the fact that there were an existing set of brand guidelines, including colors, imagery and language choices that should be considered when developing the new site. The approach was to improve what they had, not blow the whole thing up.
Our Approach:
The project began with a research phase that included understanding of the their current brand guidelines, their audience, and how the Reveal product worked, as well as opportunities in the marketplace. At the client’s request, we worked very closely with them to develop the content and design elements, as well as the choices for site architecture and navigation. This meant a very collaborative process that required constant alignment between the two teams.
Because the project was focused on website development, we shared highly developed mockups of the website and refined them alongside Trumble Inc.’s team. The key to this project: no surprises! This meant seamless communication and regular check-in meetings to provide status updates.
The Result:
Since two of the key benefits of Reveal® are that it helps increase throughput and uptime, we developed an ROI Calculator for the site. That way, decision makers and influencers shopping for solutions to downtime could see for themselves what this new technology could offer.
We also chose imagery that focuses on the men and women working on the plant floor to hammer home that this is technology for them, not the C-suite. We tried to find language and imagery that helped celebrate and empower plant floor workers and ultimately encouraged them to embrace this new technology.
With their new website, Trumble Inc. was able to more confidently direct prospects and even investors to their product.
We couldn’t be prouder or happier to help support a Michigan-based company looking to take manufacturing into the future.
